We are hiring a Senior Material Handling Associate to support warehouse operations, inventory control, material planning, and manufacturing production activities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate material movement, inventory accuracy, stock analysis, and production support while utilizing enterprise software, material handling equipment, and established inventory management processes in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the efficient movement, storage, and control of materials throughout the warehouse and production facility.
- Operate material handling equipment safely while following all established safety procedures.
- Analyze production rate data and inventory records to determine material availability and production requirements.
- Review stock records and monitor inventory status to identify shortages and support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Assist in establishing and achieving team production and material management goals.
- Coordinate timely material delivery to manufacturing and operational teams.
- Document, process, and distribute scrap and salvage materials in accordance with established procedures.
- Support inventory control activities to maintain accurate material records and stock integrity.
- Assist with material shortage resolution and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Handle and process classified materials in accordance with applicable security requirements.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related material handling, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of enterprise software and associated inventory data systems.
- Knowledge of material planning, inventory control, and material management methodologies.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials.
- Experience working in warehouse, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment while following established safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Government and Customer Property Control procedures.
- Experience supporting manufacturing production schedules and inventory analysis.
- Proficiency with computer systems used for inventory management and daily warehouse operations.
- Experience identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools for process improvements and operational efficiency.
