We are hiring an Aircraft Quality Inspector – A&P Licensed to support aerospace manufacturing and aircraft maintenance operations. This role is responsible for verifying product conformance to engineering and quality requirements, performing inspections and audits, documenting nonconformances, and supporting quality assurance activities. Candidates with Boeing 767 or KC-46 aircraft experience are highly preferred.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Verify product conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Provide objective inspection evidence to ensure compliance with design and manufacturing requirements.
  • Perform routine product inspections, audits, surveillance, and monitoring activities.
  • Identify, document, and report product and process discrepancies.
  • Segregate, control, and track nonconforming materials and products.
  • Perform preliminary review and disposition of nonconforming items in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Conduct product and process verification reviews with customers as required.
  • Identify recurring or significant quality issues and initiate corrective action requests.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation to support compliance and traceability.

 

Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship Required
  • Active Secret Clearance Required to Start
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience (vocational training or Associate degree accepted).
  • Typically 1+ year of related aircraft quality inspection, quality assurance, or aviation maintenance experience.
  • Current Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is required. Please validate A&P license prior to candidate submittal.
  • Knowledge of aircraft quality inspection processes, product conformity verification, nonconformance documentation, and corrective action procedures.
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting KC-46 Pegasus aircraft programs.
  • Experience with Boeing 767 aircraft.
  • Previous aerospace manufacturing, aircraft maintenance, or aviation quality assurance experience.
