Senior Associate, Customer Success (ESG & Sustainable Investment)

Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Senior Associate on Sustainalytics Customer Success team.

You will own retention and adoption for a portfolio of leading financial institutions across the BeNeLux region. Your success will be measured by client retention and growth, product adoption and client satisfaction.

You will serve as the primary customer success manager for a portfolio of accounts and act as a trusted contact to ESG, sustainable investment, risk, and portfolio management teams.

This role offers the opportunity to work with some of the leading investors in Europe, helping them integrate ESG and sustainability considerations into investment decision-making while partnering closely with subject matter experts across Morningstar Sustainalytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and retain a portfolio of clients by:
• Developing and executing account plans
• Driving product adoption and value realization
• Identifying and mitigating churn risks
• Partnering with Sales on expansion opportunities
• Delivering training, onboarding, and strategic reviews
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across investment, ESG, research, product, and risk functions.
• Provide excellent client service including responding to client queries, supporting data delivery, managing issue resolution, supporting change management and maintaining accurate data records to support efficient processes.
• Act as a subject matter expertise on Sustainalytics’ products and use cases.
• Act as a liaison between clients and Sustainalytics’ internal teams.

Qualifications

• Dutch language fluency required; English fluency required.
• 4+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Relationship Management, Consulting, or a related client-facing role.
• Proven track record of retaining and growing client relationships.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort interpreting and discussing data.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple internal team
• Experience working with institutional investors, investment research, market data, financial technology, ESG research, or sustainability-related solutions is preferred.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented.

Base Salary Compensation Range

EUR 63.000,00-92.333,33

Bonus Target:

12,5% Annual

We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
