Our Equity Research team was ranked No.1 for the seventh consecutive year in the Institutional Investor Asia Research Team ranking this year. Our analysts look at economic, market, industry and company data to enhance the performance of clients' global portfolios and to help companies set their strategic direction.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of company, industry, and market data to identify key trends, investment drivers, risks, and potential inflection points across the technology hardware sector.
  • Present findings in a clear and concise way and collaborate with team members to weave insights and implications into analyst publications
  • Contribute to thematic and cross-company research projects by collecting and analyzing datasets, developing research frameworks, preparing exhibits, and synthesizing findings into actionable investment insights.
  • Maintain and enhance internal databases, dashboards, research trackers, and analytical tools to improve the efficiency, consistency, and depth of the team's research process.
  • Work closely with senior research analysts. Collaborate with other team members for cross-sector projects.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a finance major is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin communication, both verbally and in writing
  • Familiarity with accounting and modeling skill is preferred
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working with financial models, datasets, research exhibits, and published materials
  • Proactive learner with an ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong professional accountability
  • Strong focus on coordination and teamwork
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize competing demands, and consistently deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
