Job Summary
Moog is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tech Lead to join its Flight Control Actuation Design team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in actuation system design, system modeling, requirements management, and aerospace system engineering processes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced flight control actuation products for aerospace applications while collaborating with global stakeholders and customers.


Key Responsibilities
Technical
- Develop and validate flight control actuation system models using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Manage system requirements and traceability using IBM DOORS.
- Apply system engineering principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support the design and development of Primary Flight Control and High-Lift Actuation Systems.
- Understand and apply RTCA DO-160 environmental qualification requirements to develop appropriate Verification & Validation (V&V) strategies.
- Develop and maintain Airworthiness Qualification and Certification documentation.
- Support compliance activities including Compliance Matrices, DDPs, and certification deliverables.
- Develop Acceptance Test Plans (ATPs) and Qualification Test Plans (QTPs).
- Translate customer and regulatory requirements into robust, airworthy actuation system solutions.
- Participate in customer engagements on technical proposals, including Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) activities.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency within system engineering processes.
- Ensure quality, technical excellence, and on-time delivery of engineering deliverables.
- Support continuous improvement and departmental initiatives.
- Apply strong knowledge of ARP4754 and aerospace development processes.
- Support end-to-end system development activities from concept through certification and production.
- Progressively contributes towards Systems architecture development for Actuation systems and requirements decompositions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering functions and global locations.
- Experience working through the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle for aerospace products.

Qualifications: Graduate (Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering) or Postgraduate (Systems Engineering or equivalent)
Work Experience (Years): 12–15 years of experience in aerospace system engineering, flight control systems, or actuation system development.
Relevant Certifications: Nothing specific
