We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The Barista will prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
QualificationsKey Responsibilities
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards
Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers
Take customer orders accurately and handle payments using POS systems
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace
Restock supplies and ensure product availability
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive guest experience
Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Previous experience in customer service or food service (preferred but not required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills for handling transactions
Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as grinding, pouring, and cleaning
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso preparation
Experience with POS systems
Passion for coffee and customer service
Work Environment
Fast-paced coffee shop
Exposure to hot surfaces, steam, and loud equipment
