Merchandise Analysis Intern

We are looking for an engaged and passionate Merchandise Analysis Intern to join our team Retail Merchandising at our Global Headquarters in Milan.
Your Impact
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
- Support in generating weekly/monthly sales reports: preparation of various Excel-based reports and business summaries using internal data systems and Excel;
- Support in gathering regional feedback from local merchandising teams;
- Monitoring sales and elaborate forecasts and projections, optimizing stock level across channels and eventually proposing transfers and replenishments;
- Analysing sales and stock on a daily basis and provide insights;
- Working closely with various corporate departments (Collection Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Planning) on cross-functional initiatives, ensuring that retail requirements are met.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Business Management, Fashion & Luxury Brand Management or any equivalent;
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;
- Passion and sensibility for the Luxury sector in particular for Merchandising or Buying functions;
- Strong interpersonal, team player and communication skills;
- Fluent English and Italian, both spoken and written;
- Strong analytical skills and attitude;
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Ease in working in a fast-changing environment.
