Cloud System Engineer
About this role
We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Cloud Systems Engineer to join the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Department at our HQ in Milan.
Your Impact
The Cloud Systems Engineer will ensure the reliability, security, and continuous evolution of the company’s Cloud and AI platforms, building a scalable, resilient, and automated ecosystem aligned with business, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
In particular, the resource will be responsible for:
- Cloud Operations & Infrastructure Management: manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
- AI Operations / AIOps: support and automate enterprise AI platforms, ensuring efficient, reliable, and observable operations.
- Automation & DevOps: implement infrastructure automation and enhance CI/CD in collaboration with DevOps teams.
- Security, Risk & Compliance: ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and governance standards.
- Service Improvement & Governance: drive operational excellence through FinOps, service optimization, and advanced technical support.
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For:
Main qualifications:
- 7 –10 years of experience in Cloud Operations, Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering; AI/Data Operations experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud, including hybrid cloud, containers, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, monitoring, automation, networking, and IAM.
- Experience or strong interest in AI/ML Operations, including MLOps, LLMOps, AI workloads, and model orchestration.
- Familiarity with AI platforms and services (e.g., Azure AI/OpenAI, AWS AI, Databricks, vector databases, and RAG).
- Good understanding of cybersecurity, operational resilience, and compliance best practices.
