The scope of the Test Manager role:

• playing an essential role within the annual, regular Release periods and supporting the release activities of the projects.

• managing and supporting the frequently scheduled releases and ensures the quality assurance for these releases.

• supporting both the new IT developments and the development changes in order to increase the overall development and release quality

• supporting several projects by planning, organizing, executing and reporting their test and defect management tasks.

Main responsibilities:

• Supports the implementation, execution and development of MOL Group Test and Release Management strategy on his/her area.

• Supports Major and Minor Releases and coordinating the related activities (Prod/Test/Dev env.).

• Supports and maintains the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and other release-related documentation as business as usual activities.

• Provides the quality assurance of all required release-related deliverables.

• Plan, organize, execute and report the test and defect management processes and tasks of the assigned projects.

• Coordinates the work of the test managers belonging to his/her area

• Lead testing processes for a given project or product development cycle.

• Determine testing strategy and methods for the given project or product, taking into account the necessary testing tools and resources.

• Responsible for tracking testing results and reporting to relevant stakeholders.

• Coordinate the testing team, assist members in testing tasks and evaluating testing results.

• Develop testing processes, automate testing, and improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Main requirements:

• University or college degree in economics, computer science, business administration (degree in IT is an advantage)

• Minimal of 8+ years relevant experience in IT field (QA, Test Mgmt, Release Mgmt, Service Mgmt, PMO)

• Result oriented and be able to work independently

• Structural thinking and analysis approach

• Work experience in multinational company environment is plus

• ISTQB, ITIL certificate/knowledge are plus

• General hardware and software knowledge

• Advanced knowledge of ITIL processes, ISTQB framework, IT development processes, Microsoft Office products, special focus on MS Excel

• Working experience with some of the followings are advantages: MS SharePoint, Teams, MS PowerBI, SAP Solution Manager 7.2 (modules: Solution , documentation, Test Suite, Change and Release Management), SpiraTeam by InflectraAzure Dev/Ops

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian are required (official written communication is in English).
