CATEGORY MANAGER – GASTRO (Junior)

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivated junior professional who would like to grow in category management and develop within the gastro business. You are curious, commercially minded, willing to learn, and ready to take on new challenges with the support of experienced colleagues. You enjoy working with data, customers, and suppliers, and you are interested in understanding how category decisions influence business results.
What will you do?
Support the development and execution of category strategy to drive growth, market share, and profitability
Support supplier communication and participate in negotiations and partnership building
Help manage assortment, pricing, and promotions within the gastro category
Support product innovation, including new launches and private label development
Analyze category performance and prepare inputs for improvement actions
Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities
Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to category results
What do we expect?
Commercial mindset with customer focus and willingness to learn
Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Analytical thinking and ability to work with data
Interest in Gastro, Grocery, Retail, or FMCG business
Previous experience in category management, offer management, retail, sales, purchasing, or a related area is an advantage, but not a strict requirement
Fluent business English
Good knowledge of MS Office
Driving license (Category B)

Christmas bonus of up to 96%25 of the monthly base salary

Salary: from 1900 EUR brutto/month. The advertised salary represents the minimum guaranteed base salary for this position. The final offer will be determined individually, based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
