Account Manager (Facilities Maintenance)

Modern Construction Services serves a variety of businesses and clients nationwide, managing and scheduling maintenance needs, renovations, upfits, and a wide range of tasks like electrical repairs, plumbing issues, HVAC maintenance, cleaning, and emergency repairs.

After an initial training period, this position does offer a hybrid-remote (work from home) schedule.

In addition to the base salary, position offers an on-target bonus incentive.

Ideal candidate will have experience managing work orders for various commercial property maintenance clients, including all interior and exterior trades, plumbing, electrical, general repairs.

Candidate will have excellent multitasking skills, work with a sense of urgency, be detail oriented, with experience managing vendors, quoting, quality control, scheduling, consistent communication and team player.

  • Overall work order management, support and administration of multiple commercial clients nationwide.
  • Communicate schedules, provide daily/weekly updates and reports.
  • Vendor and subcontractor management.
  • Ensure proper safety protocols are followed, manage change orders.
  • Manage project resources to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure proper profit margins are attained.

Qualifications:

  • Basic familiarity with construction trades and repairs.
  • Experience managing multiple clients with multi-site work-orders and projects.
  • Familiarity with a facility work order management system (ie., Fexa, Corrigo, ServiceChannel, Yardi, Job Nimbus).
  • Able to self-manage and make efficient use of time, meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage vendors, direct labor and subcontractors.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Proficiency using computers and software to include MS Office products, Outlook, Excel.
  • Ability to pass MCS pre-screening employment policies (background, drug test).
  • Ability to learn and follow company policies and protocols.
