  • Review capital projects and fixed asset transactions to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.

  • Maintain documentation supporting SOX internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.

  • Drive continuous improvements, automation, and standardization across General Ledger and Fixed Assets accounting processes.

  • Leverage digital technologies and emerging automation capabilities to improve the efficiency, scalability, and accuracy of accounting operations.

  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Facilities, and other business partners to support capital investments and operational objectives.

  • Analyze accounting transactions, investigate variances, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.

  • Work closely with both the U.S.-based Accounting team and the Poland-based Accounting Manager to support global accounting operations.

  • Participate in special projects, system implementations, compliance initiatives, audits, and evolving business priorities.

  • Contribute to a culture of operational excellence, innovation, continuous improvement, and high-quality financial reporting.

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including General Ledger and/or Fixed Assets accounting within a complex global environment.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and financial close processes.

  • Experience supporting capital projects or manufacturing environments is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and recommend practical improvements.

  • A curious mindset with a passion for challenging existing processes and driving continuous improvement.

  • The ability to thrive in ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced global organization.

  • Excellent collaboration skills across international Accounting, Finance, and business teams.

  • Full professional proficiency in English.

  • ERP experience, strong Excel skills, and SAP experience are highly valued.

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry is a plus.
