About this role

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a commercially minded change leader to drive AI transformation across a group of businesses within Modaxo. This is not a technical delivery role. It’s about making AI happen at scale - accelerating adoption, embedding capability, and ensuring AI delivers real, measurable business value.

About the Role
As a AI Transformation Manager, you’ll act as the bridge between AI strategy and business execution, working across 4-7 businesses within your group.
You’ll partner with Group Leaders, Business Unit (BU) leadership teams, and the AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) to turn opportunity into impact- faster.

Contract Type: This role is offered on a 12-18 month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of moving to a permanent position in the future, subject to business needs and performance.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Opportunity Development

  • Build and maintain a group-level AI transformation roadmap aligned to commercial priorities
  • Identify and prioritise high-impact AI use cases (balancing value, feasibility, and strategic fit)
  • Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, revenue- and efficiency-driving opportunities
  • Facilitate regular AI opportunity reviews, challenging ambition and driving alignment

Adoption & Implementation Acceleration

  • Act as the go-to partner for BUs moving from decision to live deployment
  • Diagnose and remove barriers to adoption (capability, process, data, or mindset)
  • Lead AI pilots, ensuring they generate scalable outcomes and actionable insights
  • Replicate success across businesses- scaling what works
  • Hold stakeholders accountable for delivery against adoption milestones

Capability Building & AI Champions Network

  • Partner closely with AI Champions across the group to enable local adoption
  • Support awareness, engagement, and onboarding activities without owning them end-to-end
  • Identify capability gaps and coordinate learning interventions with the Centre of Excellence
  • Track AI maturity, literacy, and readiness across the group

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with BU leaders as a credible, commercially aware advisor
  • Lead the human side of AI transformation -addressing resistance, building momentum, and ensuring engagement
  • Represent the group in enterprise AI forums and Centre of Excellence initiatives
  • Provide clear updates to leadership on progress, risks, and priorities

Performance & Impact Measurement

  • Own the group’s AI adoption scorecard (use cases, adoption rates, value delivered, maturity)
  • Provide structured reporting and insights to Group Leadership and Centre of Excellence
  • Continuously identify patterns, blockers, and best practices

Governance

  • Ensure AI initiatives align with organisational data governance standards, responsible AI principles, applicable regulatory requirements (including GDPR and the EU AI Act where relevant), and established AI risk management practices

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who can drive change through influence, not authority, and thrives in complex, multi-business environments.

Essential Experience

  • Proven track record of delivering transformation or change programmes (digital, operational, or commercial)
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders, teams, or business units
  • Background in consulting, transformation, programme leadership, or senior commercial roles
  • Demonstrated ability to turn strategy into execution through others
  • Exposure to AI tools or AI adoption in a business context

Key Skills & Capabilities

  • Commercial mindset - able to connect AI to revenue, margin, and customer outcomes
  • Influence without authority - builds credibility and drives action across senior stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving - able to diagnose where adoption is failing and why
  • Translation ability -bridges technical AI concepts with business realities
  • Resilience and pace - manages priorities across multiple businesses effectively
  • Storytelling and communication - adapts messaging for different audiences

What Makes This Role Different

  • You won’t build AI solutions - you’ll accelerate adoption and scale impact
  • You’ll operate at the intersection of strategy, people, and commercial delivery
  • You’ll influence leaders across a diverse, global portfolio of software businesses

What Success Looks Like

  • AI initiatives move from idea to live deployment faster
  • Clear, measurable business value delivered through AI
  • Increased adoption, capability, and engagement across BUs
  • Strong alignment between Group strategy and BU execution
