Mission Yogurt, Inc. is a boutique hospitality company that operates restaurants primarily in high-traffic airports, including Denver International Airport. We are looking for a Back of House Supervisor to support our operations at Uncle Ramen, located inside the Denver Airport. 

About the Role:

The Back of House (BOH) Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all kitchen and food preparation activities within the establishment. This position is responsible for overseeing kitchen staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation. The BOH Supervisor collaborates closely with the front of house team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, contributing to an exceptional customer experience. They are also tasked with training and mentoring team members to foster a productive and positive work environment. Ultimately, the BOH Supervisor ensures that all back-of-house operations align with company policies and regulatory requirements, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certification in food safety (ServSafe).

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations.
  • Collaborate with front of house management to ensure seamless communication and timely order delivery.
  • Assist in menu planning and development by providing feedback on food quality and preparation processes.
  • Maintain accurate records related to food production, inventory, and staff performance.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues or customer concerns related to back of house activities.

Physical Demands: 

  • Position requires the ability to stand up to 12 hours.
  • Climbing, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling.
  • Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 20 lbs. and occasionally carrying up to 50 lbs.
