Mission Yogurt is seeking a BOH Manager for TAPS Fish House & Brewery, located in the John Wayne Airport.
The BOH Manager is responsible for leading all back-of-house operations, including food quality, kitchen team performance, inventory management, food safety compliance, and labor control. This role works closely with the FOH restaurant leadership team to ensure efficient kitchen operations, exceptional guest experiences, and a positive, high-performing work environment.

What We Are Looking For:
- Candidates who: possess at least two years of restaurant management experience;
- Delivers superior food and beverage service and maximize customer satisfaction;

- Ensures safety and security of both guests and team members;
- Must be able to pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines.
Job-Specific Duties: BOH Manager
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus;
- Produce high-quality plates in both presentation and taste;
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards;
- Plan and direct food preparation.
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation;
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance;
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately;
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards, including Health inspections;
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers!
- Partner with the FOH Manager on daily restaurant operations and leverage the Director of Operations for additional guidance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
