Job Purpose:

Drive business growth by providing strategic financial and commercial analysis that supports revenue generation, profitability, and market expansion across international markets. Partner with Strategy, Operations, Marketing, and Commercial teams to identify, evaluate, and execute growth opportunities in new and existing markets through data-driven insights, business case development, and commercial planning, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

Business Financial Management

  • Partner with Group Director and cross-functional teams across international markets to provide financial analysis, commercial insights, and recommendations that improve business performance and profitability.

  • Monitor business performance against budget, forecast, and key performance indicators, identifying risks, opportunities, and improvement actions.

  • Analyze pricing trends, promotional effectiveness, product mix, and market conditions to recommend initiatives that enhance revenue and margins.

  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue through pricing optimization, new products, channel expansion, and market penetration initiatives.

  • Conduct financial analysis, feasibility studies, and business case evaluations for new outlets, renovations, and strategic investment projects.

  • Support financial due diligence and valuation analysis for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnership opportunities.

  • Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process by working closely with Finance and business teams to align financial plans with business objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and internal controls while maintaining the accuracy of financial information.

Commercial Strategy and Planning

  • Support the development and execution of commercial strategies to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion objectives.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to improve commercial performance and operational efficiency.

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify business opportunities and commercial risks.

  • Recommend pricing strategies, promotional activities, product portfolio optimization, and customer segmentation to maximize revenue and profitability.

  • Monitor commercial performance and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial and operational targets.

Strategic Growth Initiatives

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market expansion initiatives, strategic partnerships, and franchise opportunities.

  • Prepare financial models, investment analyses, and business cases to support strategic business decisions.

  • Support the execution of market entry strategies, new business models, franchising, licensing, and strategic partnerships.

  • Partner with business leaders to identify digital transformation opportunities, including e-commerce, digital payments, customer analytics, and technology-enabled business solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, operational effectiveness, and cost optimization to support business growth.

  • Coordinate cross-functional projects to ensure successful implementation of commercial and business development initiatives.

Management Reporting

  • Prepare monthly business performance reports and management presentations, providing timely and accurate financial and commercial insights.

  • Analyze business performance, identify key trends, and recommend actions to improve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain commercial performance dashboards and key performance indicators to support management decision-making.

  • Ensure reporting processes and analytical tools are continuously improved to support business requirements.

  • Present business analysis, investment proposals, and commercial recommendations to senior management and leadership teams.

Business Development & Partnership Management

  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external business partners to support commercial initiatives and business growth.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects within agreed timelines and business objectives.

  • Support negotiations with business partners, franchisees, landlords, suppliers, and other key stakeholders by providing commercial and financial analysis.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance business processes, commercial effectiveness, and operational performance.

Qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance – Master’s Degree and CPA is a plus

  • At least 10 years of experience in accounting/ financial role and in feasibility study, with 8 years in management level.

  • Experience in food service, hotel or retail industry would be an advantage.
