The Operations Control (OC) is the on-site finance coordinator at the property, bridging day-to-day operations
with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner and the Global Shared Service Centre (GSSC), who
handle the majority of transaction processing and accounting entries in Oracle Fusion. The OC ensures
accuracy, compliance, and timeliness by coordinating data flows, reviewing open items, facilitating approvals,
and resolving exceptions—enabling smooth financial operations and supporting month-end close across
Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (PTP), and Record to Report (RTR) processes.
- Reconcile daily Opera PMS and Oracle Fusion balances and investigate variances.
- Coordinate Accounts Receivable matters and follow up outstanding balances.
- Coordinate Accounts Payable requests and ensure proper document control.
- Support AP, AR, and General Ledger month-end closing.
- Manage cash, bank deposits, and daily cash reconciliation.
- Coordinate intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Monitor fixed assets, leases, and project costing.
- Coordinate journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
- Support tax compliance, audits, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with BPO, GSSC, and hotel departments on finance-related matters.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
