Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and team leadership. This position plays a key role in maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment that supports company goals and customer expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and products.
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse employees to achieve performance and safety goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee regular cycle counts and audits.
Coordinate with purchasing, production, and logistics departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage scheduling, workload distribution, and performance evaluations for warehouse staff.
Oversee maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
Track and report on key performance metrics such as accuracy, timeliness, and productivity.
QualificationsQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
Knowledge of industrial products or hose industry is a plus.
