Card Shop Bartender

Position Summary: The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, preparing and serving small bites, interacting with customers, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Bartenders must be knowledgeable about drink recipes, responsible alcohol service practices, and able to maintain a clean and organized bar area. This role includes bartending for a wide range of in-store events, from children’s birthday parties and trading card game nights to athlete meet-and-greets and autograph signings. The ideal candidate brings a warm approach to customer engagement and a vision for ensuring enjoyable events in a vibrant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Create an inviting and friendly atmosphere, take orders, serve food and drinks, and offer recommendations.
• Food & Beverage Preparation: Oversee light food service and a full bar. Mix drinks according to recipes, pour wine, serve beer, and prepare food in Turbo Chef ovens.
• Bar Maintenance: Clean and maintain the bar area. Assist the Hospitality Manager in maintaining bar inventory ensuring a well-stocked bar.
• Financial Transactions: Process cash and credit card transactions.
• Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications:

• 21+ years old
• 1+ years bartending/food service experience
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by events
• Hiring contingent on a background check
• English fluency (Required)
