👀 The Role

Title: Head of Sportsbook Performance

Team: Sportsbook

Location: Gibraltar (onsite)

This role sits at the core of how Midnite drives sportsbook profitability and performance.

As Head of Sportsbook Performance, you will own margin optimisation across the sportsbook, identifying where value is won and lost, and driving structured improvements that directly impact revenue.

You will operate at the intersection of trading, product, and commercial, translating data into clear actions that improve pricing, limits, promotions, and overall configuration, ensuring the sportsbook is both commercially effective and delivers a strong, sustainable customer proposition.. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on company performance and strategy.

You will:

• Own sportsbook margin performance and optimisation initiatives

• Diagnose structural leakage across cohorts, markets, and products

• Define and prioritise a margin optimisation roadmap

• Review pricing, limits, and stake factor frameworks

• Assess and optimise promotional and generosity mechanics

• Partner with Risk, Commercial, and Product teams to implement improvements

• Establish performance reporting and governance frameworks

• Manage and develop a Trading Quant

• Define tooling and platform improvements with Engineering

• Leverage AI and automation to improve workflows

The next Midniter:

• Deep experience in sportsbook trading or performance roles

• Strong understanding of margin drivers and optimisation levers

• Proven track record of delivering measurable commercial impact

• Highly analytical with strong diagnostic capability

• Strong commercial judgement balancing margin and growth

• Comfortable influencing cross-functional stakeholders

• Clear communicator translating data into action

• High ownership mindset with bias for action
