Site Project Engineer

Job Scope

The Site Project Engineer is responsible for managing, engineering construction projects and ensuring the proper implementation of project deliverables. S/He supervises and provides technical advice to the staff on site to complete the project on time and within budget.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Formulate project parameters and ensure technical feasibility and desired quality in coordination with the direct manager
  • Coordinate and allocate internal resources to deliver customer outcomes
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned projects on site
  • Cooperate regularly with the direct manager and report updates on budgets, schedules, plans and performance of site projects
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create more efficient project methods and maintain project’s profitability
  • Create a framework to measure the project’s metrics and data collection while recommending improvements
  • Establish field test methods, conduct regular quality checks and ensure the project’s compliance with applicable practices, policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure abidance by occupational health and safety measures
  • Prepare site reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and cost in coordination with the direct manager

Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other related field

Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience
