POSITION SUMMARY:
Chapel Production Techs carry out all functions related to sound, media, lighting, livestream, setup and teardown of events happening in the chapel. Campus Ministries is looking for people ready to be trained and function in a high-pace, ever-changing environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Physically and technologically prepare the audio and visual systems for events which will primarily take place in the chapel
- Be prepared to run sound and/or media for everything related to the chapel services, Campus Ministries events, and internal and external events, including, but not limited to rehearsals and sound checks
- Sound system (including, but not limited to, sound board, microphones, cables, snake system)
- Lighting system (including, but not limited to, the light board, any accessory lighting on or off stage)
- Media (including, but not limited to, running ProPresenter, inputting all necessary lyrics and media for services prior to rehearsals/soundchecks, acquiring images and/or video for events and services)
- Stage setup (arranging and rearranging the objects on the stage when necessary)
- Livestream (setting up the Resi livestream system and managing camera angles)
- Provide hospitality and support for internal and external renters of the chapel space
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Availability for evenings and weekends for events
- Quick to learn technology
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in serving in a worship, media, production ministry preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- ProPresenter 7
- Google Mail
- Dante Soundcard
- Resi
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds
- Set up and tear down for events
- Cleaning the green room and media room
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- High pace and ever-changing. Adaptability is a necessity to the role
