Human Resources Generalist 
 
 
Position Summary:
This position provides frontline, day-to-day support in administering human resources policies and programs covering a broad range of HR topics, including employee relations & support, training & development, benefits administration and HR initiatives to support business strategies. 
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coach and guide leaders on employee relations issues such as performance, employee concerns, and conflict resolution  
  • Counsel employees on matters relating to their employment at the company 
  • Assume lead investigative role for reported concerns, as well as corrective actions, and terminations  
  • Assist in company annual and mid-year review process 
  • Conduct benefit meetings with new hires and assist in Open Enrollment Process 
  • Manage employee wellness program 
  • Coordinate resolution of all benefit related employee issues 
  • Assist in maintaining the company's compliance with various governmental regulations affecting employment (i.e., EEO, FLSA, ADA, etc.) 
  • Assist in creating a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on the organization’s goals and objectives 
  • Conduct in-house training classes that are job-specific and company-specific 
  • Support company-sponsored employee events and programs (Company Newsletter, monthly engagement events, anniversary certificates) 
  • Coordinate employee engagement surveys and assist in the development of action plans based on the results 
  • Support and administer the onboarding processes of new employees and facilitate 30-60-90-day check-in surveys with employees after orientation 
  • Conduct Exit Interviews and Stay Meetings 
  • Assist with worker’s compensation including completing paperwork related to claims and appeals 
  • Act as recruiting and payroll backup when needed 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business-related field  
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in HR 
  • Manufacturing background preferred
