The Marketing Specialist – Content supports the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives through the creation, management, and optimization of content across digital and print channels. This role partners cross-functionally to deliver engaging, on-brand content that drives awareness, engagement, and lead generation, while leveraging performance insights to continuously improve results and enhance customer experience.

Salary Range:

$29.00-$35.00 DOE

Primary Duties:

Marketing

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and events to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Develop and produce marketing content and collateral aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Maintain consistency in brand voice, visuals, and messaging across all channels.
  • Support marketing channels, including digital platforms, content updates, and campaign execution.
  • Track and report on campaign and initiative performance and apply insights to improve results.
  • Maintain organized marketing assets, templates, and documentation.
  • Manage timelines, projects, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, HR, category management, and operations) to align messaging, priorities, and campaign goals while scoping requests, clarifying objectives, and delivering projects that meet business needs.

Content

  • Plan and create content across digital and print platforms (website, social, email, and marketing materials), ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
  • Develop and deploy email campaigns and social content to support engagement, lead generation, and customer retention.
  • Create and optimize landing pages and digital content to improve user experience and conversion.
  • Support paid and organic initiatives (search, social, SEO) with content, basic setup, and performance insights.
  • Monitor channel performance and apply insights to improve content effectiveness and audience engagement.
  • Coordinate content updates and execution across platforms to support campaigns and the customer journey.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Work Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, marketing communications, or content marketing.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality, accuracy, and brand standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design tools), with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
  • Working knowledge of common digital marketing platforms and concepts (e.g., Google Analytics/GA4, Google Ads or similar, paid social, email marketing platforms, and UTM tracking).
  • Strong digital writing and optimization skills, including on-page SEO best practices, basic HTML/CMS familiarity, and the ability to translate technical or operational information into clear online content.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively with employees at all levels and with a wide variety of personalities.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The essential functions of this position will require the employee to perform the following physical activities:

  • Frequent use of office equipment
  • Must be able to carry, push, pull, reach, and lift materials and objects up to 20 lbs.
  • Standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, and bending.
  • Communicates verbally with MFCP leadership, co-workers, and one-on-one, and group meetings.
  • Work in a temperature-controlled office environment with moderate noise.
  • Up to 10% of travel may be required by automobile and/or air travel.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
