Software Engineer (Frontend) – Mechanical Modeling and Simulation

OVERALL FUNCTION:
Being part of our Software Department, this role is vital for delivering high-quality software that powers
shows such as Ed Sheeran and Metallica, festivals like Roskilde and Montreux Jazz Festival, providing a
smooth and reliable user experience to our customers at all stages from planning to execution.
As a Software Engineer specialized in mechanical modeling and simulation, you'll play a crucial role in
developing advanced software solutions to simulate, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop software applications and libraries for mechanical modeling and simulation,
leveraging state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques.
- Implement and maintain UX/UI components in TypeScript/Vue.js
- Implement and maintain numerical methods and mathematical models to simulate mechanical
behavior
- Write clean, maintainable, and future-proof code, with unit tests
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and domain experts to understand modeling
requirements, translating them into scalable and efficient software solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review and
Retrospective)
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Math
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
- Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD modeling software
- Understanding of Git and setting up CI/CD pipelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Math
- Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Matlab
- Strong understanding of numerical methods, mathematical modeling, and algorithms relevant
to mechanical modeling and scientific data visualization
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques applied to mechanical modeling and simulation.
