Introduction

We are looking for a Project Logistics Specialist to join our logistics team. In this role, you will plan, manage, and monitor logistics in projects according to project requirements, supporting smooth deliveries and customs-related activities.

You will join a collaborative Metso team working with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver safe, high-quality, and customer-focused outcomes.

 

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for planning, managing and monitoring of logistics in projects according to project requirements.
  • Daily bonded affairs, domestic sales of bonded goods, royalty declaration, etc.
  • Prepares required logistics and customs clearance documentation.
  • Selects and purchases suitable Logistics services according to corporate sourcing rules.
  • Manages shipping and transportation deliveries according to project / sales order delivery schedule.
  • Monitors and reports deviations to logistics budget and project delivery schedule.
  • Manages logistics related claims.
  • Manages any non-project related miscellaneous shipments.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in project logistics, shipping, transportation, or customs-related work.
  • Knowledge of logistics service selection and sourcing rules.
  • Ability to prepare accurate logistics and customs clearance documentation.
  • Ability to monitor schedules, budgets, deviations, and delivery risks.
  • Strong coordination skills with project teams and service providers.
  • Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ownership in execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
