Job Summary
Organizes, maintains, and distributes science materials, equipment and units for use in PreK-6 grade classrooms for district wide science instruction.
What you will do
- Prepares science curriculum units; cleans parts, inventories non-consumable items and replaces consumable items to ensure units are complete and ready for use
- Maintains supply inventory for assigned curriculum units
- Stages, ships and receives science units and other instructional support materials to and from elementary and middle school sites.
- Provides records of materials lost for inventory and cost control
- Assists in receiving supplies and maintaining warehouse storage
- Provides tasks instruction and support to student workers in Life Transition program
- Completes annual inventory of science curriculum units and reconciliation of material control numbers.
- Maintains cleanliness of general storage and work areas.
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience Qualifications
- 2-3 years in materials handling, warehouse, inventory or related area Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid TN Drivers License Required
Equivalency
Starting At: $24.56
Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
