Metro Plumbing, Heating & Air is looking for a Director of Electrical to help us build and lead our electrical division.

This isn’t a position where you simply inherit someone else's department and maintain it.

You’ll have the opportunity to create the team, establish the standards, develop the culture, and help shape how Metro Electrical operates and grows.

What You'll Own

As Director of Electrical, you will be responsible for:

• Building and growing Metro's Electrical Department
• Recruiting, developing, and leading electricians
• Establishing service, installation, and quality standards
• Driving department revenue and profitability
• Coaching technicians on technical excellence and customer service
• Creating accountability around performance and KPIs
• Working alongside company leadership on strategy and growth
• Ensuring work meets licensing, code, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Developing the next generation of electrical leaders
• Creating a department you're proud to put your name on

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who thinks bigger than the next service call.

You may be a Master Electrician, Electrical Manager, Service Manager, Operations Manager, or #2 leader who knows you're capable of running the entire operation.

You should be someone who:

• Holds the required Master Electrician license
• Has strong residential electrical experience
• Knows how to lead and develop people
• Understands both the technical and business side of electrical service
• Sets high standards and holds people accountable
• Can recruit and build a winning team
• Understands customer service and the residential service environment
• Wants to grow something—not simply manage what already exists

Compensation

Base Salary: $115,000–$140,000+

Plus performance-based bonus opportunity and a competitive benefits package.

Compensation will be based on experience, leadership ability, licensing, and proven ability to build and grow a successful electrical operation.
