Job Summary

Leads program with high quality and complies with rules, regulations, and policy set for by MNPS, TDOE, DCS, and DHS, in addition to planning, directing, and monitoring academic and enrichment activities for the program for students in grade Pre K – 5th. Supervises and evaluates performance of ELP PT staff

What you will do

  • Aligns the scope of academic, enrichment, and parent engagement offerings with school day and/or district. Prepares program lesson plans, staff schedules, and facilitates parent communication
  • Markets program to families and community and oversees school-based enrollment.
  • Evaluates Assistant Supervisors and ELP Staff in conjunction with rules, regulations, and policy.
  • Develops engaging instruction and enrichment opportunities for students and families.
  • Maintains accurate documentation, including but not limited to, attendance, emergency contact, incident reports, and accounting reports. Gathers and reports data upon request.
  • Attends and participates in ongoing training and staff meetings, planning, and trainings sessions. Provides on the job training for assistant supervisors and ELP staff.
  • Creates and facilitating site specific trainings for ELP staff.
  • Develops positive relationships with Extended Learning leadership team, school staff, community partners, students, families, and other stakeholders.


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field Required


Experience Qualifications

  • Two (2) years applicable experience or education Required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
  • Proposal and grant writing skills.
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
