About this role

Under the direction of the Senior Engineering Manager, is responsible for event utility installations and dismantling.  Responsible for daily building maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Utility installation/dismantling including 3 phase and single-phase connections up to 480 volts
  • Preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs of all equipment/systems in a commercial facility
  • Strong diagnostic skills of HVAC equipment and electrical equipment to include ballast, driver replacement, lamp replacement and fuse diagnosis
  • Basic office computer skills and ability to complete training as required by the CCA
  • Facility maintenance to include basic carpentry and tiling skills, plumbing, including repairs of toilet, urinal, water heaters, sinks and drains
  • Perform the installation and repair, and preventative maintenance of various electrical or electronic equipment, including HVAC and motor controls, transformers, lighting controls, and HVAC building automation systems
  • Repair, maintain, and install motors and filters, belts and pulley alignment in HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems to include pumps, plate, and frame heat exchangers and condensate returns
  • Strong diagnostic skills to include drawing or blueprint interpretation and general knowledge of safety lock out tag out
  • Ability to safely operate drain cleaning equipment, power tools, multi-function electrical meters and testing tools and equipment
  • Flexible with regard to work schedules, hours will include nights, weekends and holidays and ability to be on call 24/7
  • Flexible and willing to assist operations personnel as directed and to be comfortable working in a team environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational or Technical School required
  • Three to five years relevant experience
  • Experience in general maintenance
