Job Summary

Performs a variety of tasks in assisting in the school.

What you will do
  • Performs a variety of tasks including answering telephones, greeting visitors to the school office, filing and entering information into student-related databases.
  • Assists in maintaining attendance records and student files.
  • Assists in handling the entering or transferring of students into or from the school.
  • Assists in operating office machines.
  • Assists in duplicating or preparing instructional materials.
  • Monitors students before and/or after school, in the hallways and during lunch periods.
  • Supervises pupils in the absence of the classroom teacher only in emergency situations with the approval of the principal and only until appropriate arrangements can be made for certificated supervision.

Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience Qualifications
  • Prior work experience around groups of children Preferred

Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in keyboarding skills.

Equivalency

    Starting At: $20.21

    Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
