This position will be assigned to Information Technology department, which is located at the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library at 300 Park Avenue in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position currently requires availability to work all hours the library is open, including days, evenings, and weekends. The current need requires specific availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 4:30 pm as well as occasional weekends.*

This position is classified as safety-sensitive.

The hiring salary for this position is $24.77 hourly. Exact compensation negotiable based on skills and experience. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. This position is classified as non-exempt under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.

QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field; and
Two years of experience in an IT support role; or
Any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Licenses and Certifications

Valid State Driver's License

Current motor vehicle insurance
Acceptable Driving Record as defined in the Driver Safety Procedures

HIGHLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 IT support environments involving tasks such as troubleshooting hardware, software, network issues, and providing user support.
