Business Development Specialist - Static Castings

Description
We have an opening for a new Business Development Specialist role that will focus exclusively on growing our static casting business within the Process Industry Market for both Wisconsin Investcast and Carondelet Foundry. The Process Industry Business Development Specialist – Static Castings, is an office-based role responsible for achieving WI & CF forecasted bookings and new business goals using primarily virtual selling tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a prospecting and lead follow up plan.
- Leverage network to prospect and uncover new opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Develop sales strategies and plans aligned with plant strategies.
- Follow up on proposals and close orders.
- Achieve plant-specific and total bookings and new business goals.
- Follow up on new RFQs to understand customer needs
- Own the account sales process to drive profitable sales growth by incorporating Sales Insights training, pre-call planning and the Selling Excellence Process.
- Develop relationships with key decision makers at key customers.
- Update CRM thoroughly and daily as trained to communicate sales plan execution
- Demonstrate MetalTek Making a Lasting Difference Values.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Inside sales or related experience.
- Competitive self-starter with positive attitude, strong technical aptitude, high motivation, energy, persistence, discipline and a desire to learn.
- Excellent listening skills, sales, customer service, and presentation, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Experience in and commitment to daily use of CRM to communicate account plans, opportunities, next steps and other customer relationship information.
- Proven track record of uncovering, developing, generating new business and new customers, and closing orders is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of time.
