ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for running the machine they are assigned to. Machine Operator I is also responsible for setting up the machine as needed based off the product that is set to be ran.

Primary job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Set up machine to produce product based off product specifications                                                         
  • Recognize and troubleshoot problems
  • Communicate and lead any line workers that help with QC
  • Organize, clean, and switch change parts as needed
  • Keep accurate count of the amount of finished product made for each drum of material 
  • Tear down machine, clean parts and reassemble                                  
  • Must be willing to work with others.                                        
  • Ensure all quality specifications are followed                 
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out completely                                         

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate basic Math
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs
  • Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time 
  • Must be able to use a drum card to load drums into presses, sometimes weighting upwards of 700lbs

Schedule: 10 hour shift - 2nd shift (3:15 pm - 1:45 am Monday through Thursday)

Pay: The starting hourly rate is $19.00 per hour + $.75 per hour 2nd shift differential.
