Position Summary
The Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) is a remote commercial sales professional responsible for driving product awareness, adoption, and appropriate utilization across assigned hospitals and alternate-site-of-care accounts. This role manages a defined portfolio of target accounts through strategic virtual engagement with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.
The ISS develops and executes territory-specific business plans, identifies growth opportunities through data-driven account analysis, and builds strong customer relationships to improve patient access to CorMedix therapies. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, business acumen, clinical curiosity, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems through virtual engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own and manage an assigned portfolio of target accounts by developing strategic engagement plans, identifying opportunities, building customer relationships, and delivering business results aligned with territory objectives.
- Develop and execute territory and account-level business plans designed to increase product awareness, appropriate utilization, and customer engagement.
- Virtually engage healthcare professionals through phone, video, email, and approved digital platforms using compliant, customer-focused selling techniques.
- Identify and engage multidisciplinary hospital stakeholders, including physicians, pharmacists, microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, nursing, care management, and executive leadership, as appropriate.
- Utilize hospital analytics, customer insights, CRM data, and market intelligence to prioritize opportunities and optimize account performance.
- Navigate complex hospital systems to identify key decision-makers, understand customer needs, and support implementation of approved CorMedix therapies.
- Educate customers on approved product information, clinical data, reimbursement resources, and available company programs using compliant promotional messaging.
- Support customer understanding of clinical workflows, treatment pathways, diagnostic processes, and approved implementation strategies that may influence appropriate product utilization.
- Develop relationships with alternate sites of care, including home infusion providers, outpatient infusion centers, physician office infusion centers, and other healthcare settings aligned with brand strategy.
- Collaborate effectively with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, National Accounts, Sales Leadership, and other cross-functional partners to support customer needs and business objectives.
- Execute virtual educational programs and customer presentations for assigned accounts.
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation, territory activity, and administrative responsibilities in accordance with company policies and compliance standards.
- Participate in coaching, professional development, ongoing training, and performance feedback to continuously enhance commercial effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of clinical experience in the last 8 years (licensed and/or credentialed health care provider, e.g., RN, BSN, NP, PA, RPH, ASCP, etc.) or 5+ years of inside sales experience.
- Experience calling on hospitals, integrated delivery networks, or health systems preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing complex customer relationships and achieving business objectives.
- Experience utilizing CRM systems, analytics, and data-driven account planning.
- Knowledge of institutional healthcare environments, including formulary processes, clinical decision-making, and multidisciplinary customer engagement, is preferred.
