About the Role:

As a Parts Clerk in our Transportation and Warehousing industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your main responsibility will be to manage and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary items on hand to meet our customers' needs. You will also be responsible for processing orders, receiving shipments, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification a plus
  • Experience with inventory management software
  • Knowledge of transportation and warehousing industry

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies
  • Process orders and receive shipments
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies
  • Perform regular inventory audits to identify and address any discrepancies.

Skills:

In this role, you will utilize your strong organizational and time management skills to manage inventory levels and process orders efficiently. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining accurate records of all transactions. Additionally, your communication and interpersonal skills will be utilized when collaborating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in this fast-paced environment. Finally, your proficiency in inventory management software and forklift operation will be beneficial in this role.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders.
  • Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes.
  • Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
