Adjuster - McLarens

The Adjuster is responsible for delivering professional claims management service to clients. The role requires the jobholder to provide loss adjusting expertise, business revenue contribution and teamwork support.

 

Reporting to the General Manager of McLarens Taiwan, the job holder will be expected to contribute to the business maintenance and growth as well as the supportive team culture in the Department. The focus is on the business, efficiency, profitability, and reputation of the department. This will involve ensuring that nothing short of a professional service is provided to all McLarens clients.

Responsibilities:

 

Technical and day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Liaise with all stakeholders in claims management including insurers, policyholders, brokers, claimants, third party service providers, governmental bodies etc.
  • Conduct onsite and offsite investigations by interview statement taking etc.
  • Attending meetings related to case investigation, claims review, court hearings etc.
  • Analyze and advise on insurance policy liability, claims reserve and claim settlement strategy.
  • Conduct settlement negotiation with policyholders, claimants, and any related party.
  • On behalf of clients, engage and monitor the performance of service providers related to claims service delivery.
  • Prepare investigation reports and regular claims bordereaux to clients.
  • Work independently and unsupervised on straight forward claims allocated to you and you assist more senior adjusters in larger and more complicated claims matters.
  • You recognize problems or difficulties at an early stage and seek assistance from more senior adjusters as necessary. You are willing to learn from your seniors via on-the-job training.
