Project Assistant Manager/ Manager (E-invoicing Project)

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead and manage projects from initiation through closure, ensuring successful delivery against scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations.
• Lead and deliver e-Invoicing implementation projects, including regulatory compliance, system integration, process redesign, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, covering scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, dependencies, communication, change management and governance requirements.
• Lead project kickoff sessions, ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities, and establish accountability across the project team.

Execution & Collaboration

• Drive project execution with cross-functional teams and external vendors (where applicable).
• Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring effective collaboration, prioritization and alignment across stakeholders.
• Track project progress and milestones, proactively identifying risks, issues, constraints and slippages.

Risk, Issue & Stakeholder Management

• Manage and escalate project risks, issues and conflicts promptly with clear mitigation and contingency plans.
• Prepare and deliver structured and transparent status updates to senior stakeholders, steering committees and project sponsors.

Financial & Resource Management

• Manage project budgets, track actuals vs. forecasts, and ensure adherence to financial controls and organizational guidelines.
• Optimize resource allocation and address capacity or skill gaps as needed.

Process Improvement & Governance

• Lead post-mortem reviews to identify lessons learned and implement continuous improvement recommendations.
• Champion best practices in project management, governance and controls to drive consistency and operational excellence.

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting and finance or related field.
• At least 6 years’ working experience in related field (experience in shared services environment is preferred).
• Experience in project work, such as finance transformation, system implementation or process improvement.
• Strong computer skills and experience with relevant software programs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges.
