- Serve as the senior finance business partner to plant leadership teams, providing financial guidance on strategic decisions and initiatives.
- Lead month-end close activities and plant financial performance reviews, ensuring accurate reporting and clear performance insights.
- Analyze and explain manufacturing variances, translating findings into actionable recommendations for operational leaders.
- Identify cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities and support the implementation of sustainable solutions.
- Manage product costing activities, including cost analysis, feasibility assessments, and savings evaluations related to formulation and R&D initiatives.
- Lead forecasting and budgeting processes for the manufacturing sites, ensuring robust assumptions and alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with plant leadership on capital expenditure planning, investment analysis, tracking, and post-investment reviews.
- Ensure effective internal controls and compliance processes that safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
- Coach, develop, and lead Operations Finance Analysts while fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Support cross-functional projects, capital initiatives, and continuous improvement programs across the European Supply Chain network.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- 10+ years of manufacturing finance experience, preferably within consumer products, food manufacturing, or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost management, standard costing methodologies, and accounting systems.
- Solid understanding of profit and loss management, margins, manufacturing cost drivers, and financial performance metrics.
- Advanced analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, including root cause analysis and resolution of complex operational and financial issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong business partnering, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
