About the role.

The FS&Q Suppliers & Third Parties Assistant supports the delivery of food safety and quality standards across McCain’s supplier network in Continental Europe.

This role focuses on managing and processing supplier data, supporting quality managers, and ensuring that supplier information is accurate, compliant, and actionable. You will play a key part in maintaining strong supplier quality processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll be doing.

• Process and maintain supplier quality and material data in internal systems
• Request and follow up on required documentation and data from suppliers
• Support Supplier Quality Managers with reporting and data-driven insights
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards
• Assist in supplier audits, inspections, and regulatory activities
• Collaborate with internal teams (Quality, Purchasing, Plants) on supplier-related topics
• Identify data gaps or deviations and support corrective actions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of supplier quality processes
• Help track trends and identify potential risks in supplier performance

What you’ll need to be successful.

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, or related technical field
• Initial experience in the food industry (quality or food safety environment preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Basic knowledge of food safety, microbiology, and QA/QC principles
• Good communication skills and ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage data and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Professional and ethical mindset
• Proficiency in English; additional languages (Dutch, German) are a plus
