About this role

Responsibilities:

  • Able to use all equipment and machinery
  • Understand and read schematics and drawings, related to the trade requirements
  • Troubleshoot, rebuild, repair and improve all active and new machinery and equipment without supervision
  • Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required for maintenance and setup of machines
  • Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modification and installations
  • Committed to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment and processes, via preventative and predictive maintenance on production and production supporting equipment
  • Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
  • Has an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety and company policies

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
  • Possess Certificate of Qualification from a recognized secondary education program as Millwright
  • Experience with industrial automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Strong trouble shooting skills with a commitment to deadlines and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cooperative environment
  • Shift flexibility is a requirement
  • Ability to work overtime, when required
