- Driving enrollment and revenue growth. Manage the full enrollment process—from responding to inquiries and conducting consultative conversations to following up consistently and asking for the enrollment.
- Building a strong local pipeline. Develop relationships with schools, teachers, administrators, parent organizations, and community partners that create a steady source of new families.
- Leading and developing your team. Hire, train, schedule, coach, and hold instructors accountable for delivering a consistently excellent student and family experience.
- Strengthening retention and referrals. Build trusted relationships with parents, communicate student progress, address concerns, celebrate successes, and give families reasons to stay and recommend Mathnasium.
- Running an outstanding center. Maintain an organized, welcoming, high-energy environment where students feel known, supported, and excited to return.
- Managing the numbers. Track leads, follow-up activity, enrollments, retention, staffing, and center performance—and take action when results are off track.
- Enrollment and revenue grow consistently.
- Prospective families receive prompt, confident follow-up.
- Parents stay engaged and refer other families.
- Instructors are well trained, accountable, and connected to the center’s goals.
- The center feels warm, energetic, organized, and professional every day.
- Demonstrated success in sales, business development, enrollment, membership growth, account management, or retail leadership. Your previous title matters less than the results you produced.
- Experience hiring, training, coaching, or managing a team.
- Confidence conducting consultative sales conversations, following up persistently, and asking for the business.
- A natural relationship builder who is comfortable representing the center with parents, school leaders, and community partners.
- Strong organization, follow-through, judgment, and personal accountability.
- Comfort with elementary and middle-school math. You do not need to be a classroom teacher, but you must be credible discussing math learning with families and staff.
- A four-year degree.
- Monday–Thursday afternoons and evenings
- Sundays
- Occasional school nights, fairs, and community events
- Base salary: $50,000–$55,000
- Uncapped monthly performance bonus tied directly to enrollment and revenue growth
- High-performing directors regularly earn an additional $2,000–$3,000+ per month
