OVERNIGHT LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR-Safety Sensitive

Hours: 10:00pm-7:00am Wed/Sun Off
Pay $17.26-$20.92 + $2 Differential

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:  

• Pull customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Pack and repack merchandise for shipment or delivery
• Load merchandise for customer pickup and delivery
• Unload trucks and verify incoming merchandise
• Stock merchandise using a lift truck or tugger
• Follow all lift truck safety procedures and operating guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Respond to instructions from the Control Booth regarding order
• fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Assist other warehouse departments as needed
• Transfer merchandise and materials to designated locations
• Maintain assigned aisles and storage areas
• Store merchandise properly according to company standards
• Complete daily closing assignments and responsibilities
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management 

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:  

• Must be able to pass a lift truck licensing test, including written and practical evaluations
• Must weigh less than 300 pounds in accordance with equipment
• manufacturer requirements
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Maintain a positive attitude when assisting customers
• Demonstrate knowledge of proper merchandise handling procedures
• Follow company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety standards.

 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, typing, hearing/listening and repetitive motion. 

 

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 35 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects. 

 
Work Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled environment. Lift Truck Operators/Tugger Operators perform tasks up to 45 feet in the air.
