Responsible for performing integrated reservoir studies, reserve and economic analyses of exploration, development and acquisition opportunities. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to have a significant role in the growth of an independent E&P company. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquisitions, exploration activities and development drilling programs.

QualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering
2+ years industry experience with unconventional oil and gas reservoirs, particularly tight sands and shales in the following areas: Permian (Delaware) Basin, South Texas (Eagle Ford) and East Texas/North Louisiana (Haynesville/Cotton Valley)
Registered professional engineer (or in process) with knowledge of reserves analysis under SEC guidelines is a plus
Ability to predict reserves/production profiles and perform economic evaluation of exploration and development drilling projects, acquisitions and divestitures
Background in reservoir fluid flow and reservoir modeling
Experience with production/nodal and pressure transient analysis to optimize production
Experience with well completions and hydraulic fracture stimulation methods
Petrophysical (open hole log and advanced core analysis) skills are a plus
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work within a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Independent, self-motivated, creative and results-oriented
