As Vice President, Value Strategy & Transformation, you will play a leadership role in scaling Mastercard's Value Quantification (MVQ) capability across Services, Core Payments, and Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF). Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Value Enablement & Optimization, you will help drive the strategy, execution, governance and adoption of MVQ globally.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, product, pricing, sales, customer success, analytics and technology. You will partner closely with business and functional leaders to translate Mastercard's value vision into scalable capabilities, operating models, and solutions that help teams quantify, communicate, and demonstrate measurable value.
The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking, program leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive transformation across a highly matrixed global organization.
What You'll Be Accountable For
Strategy Execution & Transformation
• Partner with senior leadership to execute Mastercard's enterprise value strategy and roadmap.
• Help evolve existing value quantification capabilities into a unified Mastercard Value Quantification (MVQ) framework.
• Drive strategic initiatives that strengthen how value is measured, communicated, and applied across the business.
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Collaborate with Product, Pricing, Sales, Customer Solutions Center, Account Management, Customer Success, Finance, and Services teams.
• Support embedding MVQ into key commercial, product, and customer engagement processes.
• Help build alignment around value measurement standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Adoption & Enablement
• Develop strategies that drive enterprise adoption of MVQ capabilities.
• Lead communications, training, and engagement programs that increase awareness and usage.
• Establish success metrics and feedback mechanisms to continually improve user experience and business impact.
Platform & Capability Development
• Partner with Technology, Analytics, and Product teams to enhance Mastercard's value quantification platform and supporting capabilities.
• Drive the development of scalable methodologies, value models, tools, and insights.
• Support the integration of new data sources, AI capabilities, and analytical approaches to improve value delivery.
Program Leadership & Governance
• Lead day-to-day management of the enterprise MVQ program.
• Establish governance processes, operating rhythms, and decision-making frameworks that promote alignment and accountability.
• Coordinate priorities across multiple functions and business units.
• Track progress against strategic objectives and communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders.
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on value strategy, execution, and capability development.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor team members while building organizational capability in value quantification and value-based decision making.
What You'll Bring
• 15+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, business transformation, commercial excellence, customer value, pricing, analytics, product management or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives within complex global organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing business cases, ROI models, value frameworks, or commercial strategy initiatives.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
• Experience driving organizational change and adoption of new processes, capabilities, or platforms.
• Strong people leadership experience, including building and developing high-performing teams.
