Essential Functions
Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
Clean walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass.
Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish restroom supplies as needed.
Remove debris from around the building.
Operate and control high- and low-speed stripping and buffing machines.
Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and routine hospital activities.
Identify and report building maintenance needs in assigned buildings and facilities.
