Job Purpose
Drive growth in Advised FX business from Private Banking clients by supporting Relationship Managers, identifying opportunities, and delivering client-focused FX solutions.Act as a specialist coordinator for Advised FX sales activities, product education, client engagement and business development across Private Banking portfolios.
Core Responsibilities
Coordinate all Advised FX related sales activities across Private Banking, working closely with Relationship Managers, Client Service Managers, Investment Advisors, Unit Heads and internal product or channel partners.
Maintain close client engagement to increase wallet share, deepen relationships, and position the bank as a primary provider for FX and treasury solutions.
Support Relationship Managers in identifying, prioritizing, and converting FX opportunities across affluent and Private Banking client segments.
Provide joint client calling support with Relationship Managers to understand client needs, propose suitable FX ideas and help drive transaction conversion.
Coach and mentor Relationship Managers on FX opportunities, client conversations, product positioning and sales momentum.
Promote relevant FX products including cash FX, FX forwards, margin FX, margin options, dual currency investments and other structured treasury solutions in line with suitability and governance standards.
Drive new-to-bank business and increase penetration in identified target segments through proactive client engagement and cross-referrals.
Customer Engagement
Provide active trade ideas and market-driven FX suggestions to clients, where suitable and in line with advisory standards.
Support Dual Currency Investment opportunities as enhanced-yield solutions for short-term surplus cash, helping retain client funds within the bank.
Support margin FX trading, margin options and FX forwards for clients with appropriate risk appetite and eligible requirements.
Conduct regular client meetings and structured follow-ups to maximize transaction activity and improve client engagement.
Maintain strong working relationships with Relationship Managers, Client Service Managers, Investment Advisors, Unit Heads, Proposition teams, Treasury, Operations, Product, Technology and support functions.
Operate within approved policies, product governance, client suitability requirements, operational controls, and relevant internal procedures.
Provide structured feedback to business and product teams on client needs, process improvements, and market opportunities.
Support achievement of annual FX revenue targets through disciplined sales planning, client prioritization, and proactive opportunity management.
Provide day-to-day training, mentoring and guidance to Relationship Managers to strengthen FX sales capability.
Analyze client behavior, market data, competition, and transaction patterns to identify business opportunities and portfolio gaps.
Guide Relationship Managers on client outreach, target-segment activation and follow-up actions to improve FX penetration.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a client-facing FX or treasury sales role, preferably covering Private Banking, affluent or high-net-worth client segments.
MBA in Finance from a reputed university or equivalent professional qualification, where applicable.
SCA level 3 certification
Strong analytical capability, attention to detail and ability to translate market themes and client data into practical trade ideas and business actions.
Prior sales experience in institutions with a primary or significant FX and treasury business will be an added advantage..
