We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to effectively monitor and maintain quality assurance procedures, quality engineering and gates with regard to product, processes to ensure to meet customer quality standards while maintaining qualified staffs with proper follow ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure FTT (First Time Through) of all styles thereby facilitating a smooth and uninterrupted production process.

• Facilitate fact-based real-time problem solving by conducting regular meetings with relevant internal teams to discuss quality related issues.

• Align with the PPA process by connecting with the PPA Champion and adhere to chassis based standardized thinking, thereby conducting continuous improvements to simplify existing processes, job functions.

• Execute the technologies introduced effectively via the PPA process.

• Connect with Team Leaders and Group Leaders to conduct their job role through effective coaching.

• Connect with the Value Stream Executives, Industrial Engineers and Autonomation Engineers in Digitization, Autonomation processes and initiatives at product integration process.

• Guide relevant parties on product and process knowledge involving aspects such as fit, construction, performance, durability and raw materials. 

• Ensure the product meets the required standards, expectations as per customer specifications in a timely and effective manner.

• Ensure the required quality management and regulatory compliance such as ISO 13485 & GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) are implemented and sustained in medical apparel, femtech manufacturing plants.

• By understanding the consumer requirements, subsequently translate and develop a process to error proof the product.

• Manage and update the Skill Matrix of Inline Auditors and AQL auditors, identify skill gaps and assist in grooming a strong Quality Assurance team.

• Guide and Supervise Executives whilst actively engaging in knowledge sharing, sharing of best practices such that teams have the required skills and competencies to achieve set objectives.

• Take lead in motivating the team while supporting management in monitoring/providing feedback, identifying development plans.

• Conduct internal trainings where required.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Degree in Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Product oriented with an attention to details.
• Good analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
