Senior Partnership Manager
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Super team at Mercer. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As Senior Partnership Manager, you will help drive growth across existing and new partnerships while supporting strong member outcomes. You will be the key point of contact for partners, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver effective governance, strategic planning and day-to-day partnership performance. This role suits someone who enjoys working across strategy, operations and relationship management in a dynamic, member-focused environment.
We will count on you to:
- Monitor performance, commercial terms and vendor risks, and support retail acquisition strategies, strategic planning and business growth objectives
- Develop joint annual and long-term partnership plans, including forecasts, roadmaps and strategic initiatives that support growth and retention
- Build and manage partner relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact and escalating issues where needed to support positive outcomes
- Lead partnership governance across monthly, quarterly and annual forums, ensuring clear decision-making, follow-through and service delivery
- Coordinate Mercer’s input across internal teams such as product, marketing, finance, risk and compliance to deliver agreed partnership objectives
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve member engagement, operational efficiency and digital uptake across the partnership
What you need to have:
- Proven experience developing and managing partnerships that deliver sustainable growth and value for businesses and members
- Experience in vendor governance and management, supported by contemporary vendor management tools
- Sound understanding of superannuation, along with knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Strong relationship management, communication, problem-solving and project management skills
