Grinding Utility Operator

Required Shift- Days

  • 12-hour shift
  • 6am to 6:30 pm
  • 4 days on, 4 days off

The scope of the Grinding Utility Operator is to move raw ingredients inside the site, load/unload trailers, and prepare ingredients for mixing. The Grinding Utility Operator will work several positions throughout the site with the intent of preparing ingredients for mixing.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Forklift experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; must be coachable
  • Passion to work and learn in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to act with disciplined initiative
  • Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • 1+ years’ experience within manufacturing, technical and/or trade discipline
  • ·Comfortable working with different business systems like SAP, ATMS and week plan.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10-55 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
  • Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.
  • Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

  • Ensuring that Raw materials are available for production lines on time and communicate potential shortages to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain close contact with Operations team to ensure that there are no delays in manufacture
  • Raise relevant escalations that have an impact on safety, quality and efficiency

  • Shift differential of $3.00/hour for night shift
